Fall Adult Social & Auction

This signature event for parents, teachers and friends is one of the primary sources of funding at the Shrewsbury Montessori School. The best part of the Auction is that it’s for a good cause, in fact, a great cause! We've all trusted SMS to educate our children, and the auction is a wonderful way to donate time, energy and/or money to SMS – and have a great time doing it.

Volunteer opportunities abound below are some examples of areas where you can lend your time and talents:   Soliciting Donations – make follow-up calls or visits to companies that have donated in the past. We can send you our list, so that you can decide who you want to call. Don’t fancy calling on strangers? No problem - feel free to come up with donation ideas on your own and make them a reality.   Promoting the Event – help spread the word about our auction   Set-up Support – help us set up and/or clean up the event space. Not good at lifting? How about helping with checkout and payments?

What we are asking of each family:

* 100% Participation on some level
* Get your local businesses & friends to donate
* Perform one auction job (big or small)
* Come to the auction!

Being involved in the auction is a wonderful way to get to know other Montessori parents, while helping to raise valuable funds for our school.
